Last week we saw my Kharadron Overlord force expand with some powerful firepower in the form of aethershot rifles. This week I've added some special weaponry to my Thunderers. In my zeal and hobby enthusiasm, I clipped off all the bits before sticking them together (rather than building one mini at a time), and in the process (and then from moving house) seem to have lost the left arm of the dude with the Aetheric Fumigator (the guy with the weed-killer spray gun). Before I converted a new arm, I wanted to have a good look for the old one, but that meant that he got left in the dust of the other special weapon guys.  The names of their weapons (as is often the case in Warhammer) are quite confounding! This week we're heading back to the Mortal Realms (or above them as the case may be) to look at the next unit that I have completed for my slowly growing Kharadron Overlords army: Grundstok Thunderers!   These 5 are all equipped with aethershot rifles, but if you stay tuned next week, you may just see some special weapons cropping up! I was originally going to magnitise all of them (their shoulder joints are certainly chunky enough) but the aether-cord that attaches their aether rifles to their aether-backpacks made this idea a bit aether-awkward. If I decide to magnetize some in the future, I would probably have to clip this cord off first.
