What a Kraken Year it's Been!

Happy Birthday my old friend!! Aurelio Voltaire WELCOME TO THE ART OF CAESURA'S FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY!! It's hard to believe that I've been at this every week for a year - and week after week you masochists keep coming back! Thank you!  6 months ago I reflected on how the blog was going. I even made my first infographic to celebrate (I know, we're wild here!). So here's an updated look at the first year of this happy little hobby blog from the South West of Ireland: Click on the image so you can actually see it. So how did I do? I'm really proud of all the little dudes I painted. The number I've done this year probably exceeds the number I've done in my previous 29 years of living! I think it was the massive diversity of models that kept my interest supercharged! That, and having you guys on here to motivate me! Let's take a look at some of my better efforts. In the Band

Sometimes you have to leave your zone of safety, you have to manufacture Inspirado. You gotta get out of the apartment. You've got to run with the wolves. My main band experience was throughout my undergrad, I co-founded and played and sang in an Irish Folk-Punk band ...

I love the sound of the trees in the breeze.  If the forest is so clearly musical,  why can’t it play the guitar while I sing Nirvana covers? Jarod Kintz, This Book is Not FOR SALE Hey everyone, welcome back to another session of The Art of Caesura! I hope you’ve all had a good week and are hanging up the shamrocks for St. Patrick’s Day next Thursday! I’m heading to Rome in the morning for a few days which I’m super-excited about, but don’t worry I’ll be back in time for next week’s entry! This week I wanted to talk about another hobby of mine: we’ve been looking at miniatures , drinking some beer , and how about adding some guitar to the mix? Just to whet your appetite: Now, today I want to introduce you to two of my pals and the stories behind them: Portia and Vlad. My parents bought Portia for me when I graduated from my undergrad. Her name came about because, from the body shape she’s clearly female, and with the Florenti...
