Welcome back to The Art of Caesura! Last week we started in on the leader of my Assault Intercessors: The Champion of the Feast. We got him almost completely painted last week, but left off a couple choice detail for this week's post; namely the plasma pistol.   The last plasma glow I did was on Marshal Grymm. I took bits and pieces from a few content creators' videos for inspiration - you'll be able to see a comparison of that effort and this current one towards the end of this post.  For this one, I followed (as closely as my selection of paints would allow) the tutorial by Louise Sugden on Warhammer Plus regarding plasma glow. Hello again, and welcome back to The Art of Caesura! Over the past few weeks we've been looking at my assault intercessors - the first troops that I've painted for my Primaris Black Templars army. Today we'll have a look at painting their boss.  In any other Chapter, this guy would just be a generic Assault Intercessor Sergeant, but in the Black Templars I upgraded him to be "The Champion of the Feast" carrying the "Sword of Judgement".  In game terms, this just means that he is pretty souped up and is a bit of a mini-hero. But in lore terms, it sounds very in keeping with the Black Templars' knightly aesthetic.  I painted the black armour in exactly the same way that I did for my Assault Intercessors. Welcome back to The Art of Caesura! Today is the culmination of the past few weeks; from the build , to the paint , to...today.  Today is the final reveal of my completed Assault Intercessors! We'll let the pictures to the talking, but if you have any questions please do leave them below.  I will leave you with a few thoughts though: I couldn't decide whether I was going to give them red, or the more classic yellow eye lenses. So I did both! I painted the lenses Mephiston Red but rapidly built up to Yriel Yellow.  While I was working on these guys, I found some generic Space Marine decals, the only problem, is that they were black, while I had planned to do the pauldrons red. I was toying with the idea of painting over the black with red, but it would have meant painting over the red Maltese cross on the other pauldron to colour match them.
