Hello again, welcome back one and all to The Art of Caesura!
Over the past few weeks we have been looking at painting Helbrecht and his Servitors. This week we add the finishing touches and having a look at the completed model under my work-in-progress daylight bulbs ahead of his proper showcase next week.
Miniatures can look very different under different lighting and, while I usually reserve the pictures of the completed models for the atmospheric shots, for such an iconic miniature that I spent a good deal of time and effort on, I thought I would first showcase him the way he looks while painting him - under my bright daylight bulbs.
Even pictures taken in the same environment but with different exposure settings can look quite different - as the images above and below can attest.
In the image above, you can see a few more scratches on the cloak and dings on the cross on his backpack.
Thank you for following me through my progress on High Marshal Helbrecht, we'll close things out with the showcase next week.
