I've gotten all confused and mixed up! This post was (obviously) supposed to follow my work-in-progress post about this guy a few weeks ago, but instead I jumped right ahead to the Iceling! Oh well, better late than never.  Today I finally bring you some of the atmospheric shots of the Young Emberling from Dragon Eclipse.  I have mentioned before that, with my set-up, I find it a bit tricky to photograph very warm models (those comprising of lots of red, oranges and yellows). Enter today's model! Despite my efforts of re-balancing the colours and exposure a bit in post-production, it still looks a little blown-out. Ah well, c'est la vie! Today we're looking at the atmospheric photos of the model I was painting in the last post: the Young Iceling! I mentioned last week that this will be my starting Mystling when my wife and I get around to playing Dragon Eclipse. Maybe by the time we get around to it, my daughters will be old enough to play too! I'm really happy with how this guy turned out. I especially love the contrast between his eye and the rest of his body. Also I think the separation between his skin and icy, crystalline components worked well.  I thoroughly enjoyed painting these two Mystlings!
