By the power of Sadu-Hem...
Greetings, once again, to The Art of Caesura!
Aaaand we're back to frogs!
After taking a little break last week to honour a few important birthdays, we're closing out the Frog Monsters from Hellboy: The Board Game that I had started 5 years ago!
If you're interested in how these guys emerged, you can check out this post, or if you'd like to see the painting process, you will find it here.
Today we're looking at the finished product and, in my opinion, these are totally miniatures that benefit from been viewed as a big horde. Individually, the details are a bit soft, and lacking in some areas (not unlike my paint job for them), but seen altogether they do look quite horrifying - in a good way!
Ultimately, I'm glad that I didn't totally repaint them as I was about to do. I think their various skin tones, while somewhat subtle, do add some nice variety to the group.
I'm now going to treat myself to painting a small, very individual and detailed unit...but that is for another day.
See you next Friday on The Art of Caesura!
