Welcome back to The Art of Caesura! After introducing you to Hellboy: The Board Game last week, this week we're taking a look at the first model I've painted for it: Monkey with a Gun! This little guy may only play a small part in the story of Hellboy (in "Box Full of Evil" to be precise) but he sure is a fun, wacky mini.  Wanting to get through these Hellboy minis faster than I did The World of Smog , I kept the painting of this guy pretty straight forward.  From a black undercoat, I painted his face, hands and feet Steel Legion Drab, his gun Leadbelcher, the gun handle Skrag Brown, and the rest of him Abaddon Black. From there I coated the whole dude in Nuln Oil. I then spent the majority of my time on his face. I mixed Scale 75's Basic Flesh in with Steel Legion Drab for the highlights, until we were dealing with pure Basic Flesh. His tongue is Scale 75's African Shadow, highlighted with Indian Shadow.
