Yes. Thank you, naive human.
Now, I can finish taking over the world!
Day of the Tentacle
Happy new year once again and welcome back to The Art of Caesura!
This week is the calm before the storm. Next week this blog turns one and I've been working on a big model to celebrate! Next week is going to be a huge entry, so this week we'll keep it short...
I'm ashamed to say that I still haven't had a chance to play the Conan board game that arrived last month, but I have been having a blast painting it so far!
This week I painted the tentacles. I spent a while deciding on the colour scheme and I settled on one that I thought would blend into the ocean well. A nice dark greeny-blue.
I finished them off with a thick coat of gloss varnish. I'd like to finish their bases with a splash effect - as if they're bursting forth from the sea - but I haven't quite figured out how I want to approach that yet.
In 1993, I was just the right age to absolutely adore the old Tim Schafer game "Day of the Tentacle" so when I saw these models I knew what had to be done...
Thanks as always for tuning in. Make sure your seat-belts are functioning for next week when we celebrate the first birthday of The Art of Caesura!
