Hey all, welcome to another week of The Art of Caesura!

How has your week been? Mine’s been a bit hectic, but I kind of managed to enter one of those zen states and got ‘er all done!

A surprising week in terms of Art of Caesura content…with a view to retaining my street cred, I’m surprised to admit that I’m getting really excited by Games Workshop products (and licenses) this week.

I was totally sold when I saw Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower. Not only are the minis looking great, but the old game sounded super fun. I’ve been really enjoying Ash’s homemade version, Realm Quest for the past few months. And so was delighted to see that this was coming back and, if you believe the rumours, going to become a big deal.

Suffice to say I pre-ordered a copy through Wayland Games. Pretty excited about this, and the potential that they might release rules for old heroes via the app (though they’ve only specifically said that they’ll support Age of Sigmar plastics. (I’ve still secretly got my fingers crossed for my fav. all-time hero: Grimgore Ironhide, though given the events of The End Times, this is pretty unlikely. Maybe we’ll at least see Wurrzag).

In other news, I’ve been following Total War Warhammer for ages now. Only getting more and more excited by everything that’s been released. Reviews are looking pretty favourable (8.5 – 9/10 depending where you look). So yeah…I’ve got that pre-ordered too. I know everyone’s been saying it, but man, look how awesome the old world was.


I feel like I should round out this quick fan-boy post with a group shot of some of my old Warhammer Orcs. I’ve still got a bunch of the old boys (boyz) to paint so don’t be surprised if you see them popping up again.
