To the darkness I bring fire.
To the ignorant I bring faith.
Those who welcome these gifts may live,
but I will visit naught but death and
eternal damnation on those who refuse them.
- Helsreach, Aaron Dembski-Bowden
Hello friends, and welcome back to The Art of Caesura!
This post has been a long time coming! Today, we finally get to unveil Marshal Grymm in all his splendor.
If you're just tuning in, I've been going into detail about how I painted this Black Templars marshal (built from the Primaris Captain from the Imperium magazine and a left arm from the old Black Templars upgrade sprue), starting with The Plan, The Cloak and Armour, The Face and Base, and The Details. If you're interested in how I completed specific elements in these pictures, feel free to check out their linked posts above, or, better yet, leave me a comment below.
Over the past almost two months (what with a couple breaks for Christmas, New Years and the blog's birthday), I've said a lot about this model. So today, we'll let the model speak for himself through these pictures. I hope you enjoy!
Thanks again for tuning into this series, I'll see you next week for something a bit different on The Art of Caesura!
